Summer is $185, $150 off season - self catering. Breakfast available in the main lodge at $8 per person.
This enchanting log cabin is across the pond from the main lodge.
Pause on the western deck and enjoy the view of Mesa Verde -- about 5
miles away as the crow flies. You have a front row seat for spectacular
summer sunsets, especially if we enjoyed a late afternoon thunderstorm!
The three decks provide amazing views appropriate to a Butch Cassidy
escapade. The views are incredible!
Recent upgrades make the cabin even more comfortable. We raised
the roof to greatly enhance the comfort of the loft, then refinished the
pine plank floor, and installed a new & more efficient gas log
fireplace. Always a romantic cabin, it's less rustic and a bit
more refined now. Guests have been thrilled with the additional
luxury.
Downstairs is the queen bedroom, unusual full bath, kitchen space and dining set. The unique bath always gets "Wow" comments from guests, thanks to its river rock lined shower / tub. A gas log fireplace adds ambiance and keeps the cabin toasty in winter. The loft has a double bed and sofa, flat screen TV/DVD -- effectively the living room -- but sometimes the children's entertainment center!
The cabin is compact but suitable for a family of 4. Couples have been enchanted! Left is the loft sleeping area .
The "kitchen" has refrigerator, electric stove with oven, microwave,
coffeemaker, toaster. Charcoal and gas BBQ outside. Pots,
pans, dishes all included.
Breakfast available: your choice! This cabin can be rented
Self Catering style (guests do
their own meals) or B&B style, where we
provide full breakfast in the main lodge (please let us know when you
make your reservation). One wise fellow said
that as long as his wife was having a good holiday, the rest of the
family would too ..... guess what he selected?
The most popular lodging at Sundance Bear, the cabin rents very early throughout the year.
“The cabin was beautiful -- the website pictures of the cabin didn't do it justice! It was beyond our expectations. The Scotts and their family were very warm. Our children especially enjoyed playing with Chester! (Kim and Bill)"
